- The date falls on a Wednesday in September, both of which have 9 letters.
- September 9 also is the 252nd day of the year. 2+5+2
- In addition, if you multiply a single-digit number by 9, the resulting two digits add up to 9. Consider: 8x9
What's the deal with the blurring line?
For example, I am quite certain that Marcellus really never was the same after The Robe.

9-9-9
You are not likely to live to see the next single digit date. It will be 92 years, 1/1/2101. So I hope you enjoyed 9/9/09!

Bike Trip Day 2

2x2 Bike Trip
Here we are on our bike trip. We rode the Musketawa Trail from Marne to Muskegon.
Here is our group of 10.
Much of our view was like this. The two of us would ride along, and lose sight of the others. Then we'd see them up ahead waiting for us.
We enjoyed the morning, being outdoors and riding together. How often do you see 11 buzzards on a power line?
The afternoon was much harder, having already ridden 24 miles, we now got to ride in a cold rain. Fortunately, the wind was behind us most of the way, which helped, but we were pretty cold and wet when we reached the end!
