What's the deal with the blurring line?
For example, I am quite certain that Marcellus really never was the same after The Robe.

The Name Game
So we are interested in Bible names.
Me: How about Adam?
EB: No, Adam sinned!
Is that funny to anyone besides me and Laura?

Names names names
We have been discussing baby names, hoping to help EB & Brad with the upcoming task. We understand the good strong name of Lee will be the middle name if the child should be a boy. But what to go with Lee? Paul is a good name, with a character worthy of emulation, but how does Paul Lee sounds? Does it sound like Polly, or will people distinctly pronounce both names with equal accent? Perhaps a 2 syllable word would be better with the middle name Lee. How about choosing another family name, like Paulus Lee? Here you have the 2 syllable name to go with the 1 syllable middle name, no hint of Polly, and you honor two people in one fell swoop. Or of course, there are other family names, the favorite, Demetrius Lee or Marcellus Lee, both good strong names with admirable histories.
And in the event of a female child, perhaps Lucia Ann or Diana Ann, though neither of them sound quite right with the middle name Ann. I think the problem is in having a 1st name that ends in a vowel, and following it with a middle name that also begins with a vowel. The mouth begs for a consonant, I believe. You will notice that I was very careful with such issues when we (perfectly) named our children. I think Carolyn Ann sounds very doable.
But what if it should be a boy? Benjamin Lee sounds good together, Benjamin Kenobe Lee, even is acceptable. Silas Lee is fine, the 2 syllable 1st name, no problem with vowel sounds crammed together without consonants.
Let's keep those thoughts coming!!!
