What's the deal with the blurring line?

Sometimes, what I read seems so real that I'm not always sure it didn't really happen!
For example, I am quite certain that Marcellus really never was the same after The Robe.

There can be no doubt. . . .

I think it may be true; spring is sweeter to those who have endured a long, bleak winter. I always have liked morning and the feeling of a fresh start. I guess spring is just a more comprehensive morning. All creation seems to be waking. The grass is definitely green, and today, I saw a bit of green on the tops of some of the trees.
