What's the deal with the blurring line?

Sometimes, what I read seems so real that I'm not always sure it didn't really happen!
For example, I am quite certain that Marcellus really never was the same after The Robe.

Mac Band

Sometimes, if you can believe it, you get busy doing a thing, and you forget to take enough pictures to blog about it. I'm afraid that's what happened this weekend. Of course, there were countless cameras snapping all the time, so it was hard to feel like it might not be documented enough. Hopefully, some of the pictures from others will make their way to a group site soon.Above, you can see us playing in the new band hall. We didn't sound too great, but we made it through the fight song and the alma mater. Above, Mr. John Pearson along with his wife, Blanche

Above, me and my good buddy Cindy, who wouldn't let me say no to playing with the others.

We wandered around the high school a little. You would expect this to evoke a little nostalgia, but it's really more like visiting someplace you've never been before. It looks a lot like someone tried to remove every hint that it ever looked different. We saw nothing at all familiar. We're not sure what this tower thingy is(below), but Dad thinks it's a guard tower, to reinforce the prison imagery. In the picture below, you can see some pinkish brick peeking out. I think it is a building to house some heating and cooling stuff. It looks very much like the whole school used to look, though I couldn't tell you where that building was and what was around it! The evening was celebrated at Los Patios. It's situated in a beautiful area down by a creek. The mosquitoes are particularly bad this year, so I was glad we had an inside room! Cassie (Cindy's sister) had found all these little "band people" somewhere on line. There was a painting party recently since each one had to be individaully painted blue so they would be MacArthur colors. Aren't they cute? Above, is Dad with Jerry Haecker and Dan Dreeben.
