Austin - A Time to Laugh

I persuaded Dave to get out his acoustic guitar (which he had brought for some reason??) and we all sang for a couple hours, if you can beleve it! After a rousing "Why Me, Lord?" we sang hymns that Mom liked, and songs of comfort for our aching hearts. But after a while, we had moved on to John Denver and Jimmy Buffett, singing loudly, and laughing so hard we could hardly keep singing. We all had the feeling that Mom would have approved. (Dad did not laugh much, but he smiled some and didn't seem to mind our jocularity.) .
